About Me

I recently defended my PhD in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics at The Pennsylvania State University advised by Dr. John Challis. I research the mechanisms by which the human musculoskeletal system can enhance performance and the methods by which we conduct biomechanical analyses. Specifically, my PhD work has examined the function of the foot’s arch in gait. Additionally, my Masters thesis focused on improving methods for filtering non-stationary biomechanical signals.

As a Graduate Research Assistant in the Penn State Golf Teaching and Research Center, I aim to improve coaching insights and techniques using biomechanical and statistical analyses.
